After already owning another incarnation of the wonderful S10 range i thought I surely can't go wrong with another version.
So clutching my Wodge of cash i went to the shop and spent to my hearts content!
The BSA S10 range could never be called a lightwieght in the airgun world mainly because you have to be a weight lifter to walk around a shoot with one! they are not to be confused with a light rifle!
but oddly enough this doesn't really matter because what you getting is a supurbly crafted bit of kit that will serve you well for many a year.
If the bolt to cock it could be made slightly lighter that might help, theres no slow movement of the hand without any quarry seeing you do it, you have to pull it back and drive it home but on the plus side you know that when you let rip its going to do the job you want of it!
I have to say that it could be quieter but with the help of Elmer fudd it can be almost silent so you get a solidly built rifle that is as accurate as any on the market, that looks different and it really does the job you want it to, I'm still looking for the perfect pellets for it but i'm likeing Accupells in it so far as a genuine knock down rifle this is your man!

I did actually take the HW into account when looking, i also asked what they were like to FAC up and was told the S10 would be the rifle to do that to, john Bowkett could get it to 34flbs with 40 to 50 shots that'll do me.
Also they didn't have one!

I recently bought the BSA Super10 .22 Bull Barrel as most of you know, i used to have the standard version and loved it Razz the thing is with this one all i have had is disapointment!!

The most i was getting out of her was around the 9.3ftlbs mk which is obviously a joke when your hunting. took it to the shop and unfortunately got stuck with the saturday boy! he then chrono'd it and told me "11.48 3 times mate" i said you sure you did it properly "yep" he said putting another sweetie in his gob!

So i Take it home and put it through my F1 chrono, and 9.3ftlbs Moron idiot Twat! so i took it back again at the earliest chance i had, and saw a bloke who is usually very helpful, and he was putting AA diablos through it 8.54ftlbs 9.1ftlbs 8.9ftlbs so they take it off of me and say right we will have to send it back! Evil or Very Mad

A week later i get it back and i have also had a new stock made for it by my Rabbitstalker, and wow does it look special Wink i put it through the chrono using Bisley superfields and what do i get .............................................................9.8ftlbs i could of bloody screamed!!!!
so this morning i went and got some Bisley Magnums and some AA diablos both were putting out at more than the superfields 10.6 ftlbs for the magnums and 10.4 for the diablos but it should be 11.5 ftlbs thats what the factory setting is and thats what i want!

I'm gonna take a drive up to BSA and take it in myself and hopefully they will do it there and then for me! (hopefully)

I'll keep you posted

Hope you get it sorted soon, when buying any gun know I insist on it being chronoed with an average weight pellet ie AA Field in the shop, if for any reason they won't or can't then I'll simply not buy.

sensai recommends bisley magnums.
Also if u can get ur pigs t1ts in the loading port load a pellet manually and do a chrono test. It may be your magazine!!
of course the best course of action is to send it to JB with £75.00 and it will come back fully fettled

hi celticwar,
your name looks familiar mate
get an intro put in on the "new members section"
you never know there maybe someone close by that could chrono it for you.
i`m sure you`ll find a few familiar names/faces on here aswell mate.
fill in as much info as possible on your profile it gives other members an idea of where/who you are
