As the title says ppl im after a HW97K (not one of the cheap imports that are about) if any one has one i will snap it up as i have been looking for quite a while for another one that is up to good standards of my other 97K so come on guys let me no what yas have for me my email is da_brain@tiscali.co.uk email me if any1 has one for sale also pics would be a good idea also

im on airgunbbs mate they are all sold and a think a couple of them where the nasty grey imports so no good to me....ok so i guess no1 will sell to me unless i have 20 posts? gees i will go and introduce myself in the new members section then...but any1 sellin a 97k keep me in mind lol i have 1 already but my brother is geting into the hunting and he comes with me so im after another one so he can use it instead of mine lol

Having recently emailed Weirauch in Germany when I was struggling to source a Hull Carridge HW77k, they assured me that only differences between the official Hull Cartridge and grey imports as they are known, are as follows :

The stamp on the barrel, Idea

purely cosmetic, could reduce used value, not a problem unless your buying a gun with the intention of selling it, if so why are you buying it in the first place.

The lack of warranty in the uk, Idea

not a problem as your looking for a used gun.

It will not have had the spring length reduced to reduce the power, Idea

better to buy grey and do it yourself that way you know it's been done properly as Hull cartridge just lop a couple of coils off with a set of bolt cutters, Idea

even better just fit a vmach kit.

yep i have seen an example recently of hull cartridges"official" guns and it was crap what they had done to the spring.. Shocked

This is the forum with the least prats on the whole net mate, honestly. Due to larger amount of members selling stuff, airgunbbs or pigeon watch will be best for you. There's loads passing through there weekly so you shouldn't have a problem getting the hw you're after. There's no need to be snappy at people either, if you knew how the quote system worked on forums you would have known he wasn't talking to you.. so chill out.

mm dont go on bbs much but it maybe worth keeping an eye on who gets banned and why,it doesnt say why he is banned and as kwicky says he was given the benifit of doubt and can make right by doing a profile and joining in.i do as a rule delete a thread thats not sticking to the rules but i could see what at the time i thought may be a misunderstanding and like to see what the other admin think to.the balls in dabrains court. Very Happy
